Megan Guros holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology after earning an Associate of Science from Middlesex Community College. Set to acquire a Master of Science in Biotechnology by April 2026, and a Master in Business Administration by April 2027, her academic career has been fully funded by scholarships and grants, including being a three-time recipient of the prestigious Joel Goldenberg Memorial Scholarship, which highlights her academic excellence and commitment to the biotechnology field.
She is also active in leadership roles, having served as President of both the Middlesex Community College and Northeastern University chapters of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering and the New England Parenteral Drug Association.

Professionally, Megan has worked as a Quality Coordinator at Predictive Monitor and a Buyer and Materials Planner at Ultragenyx Pharmaceuticals, a company focused on treating rare diseases. She has demonstrated expertise in establishing compliance with industry standards, participating in audits, and improving quality systems. Megan is well-versed in cGMP, CAPA, and ISO 9001 standards, with strong skills in regulatory affairs, laboratory techniques, and quality documentation.

Alongside her professional and academic endeavors, Megan is an ardent advocate for rare diseases. Megan herself is a rare disease patient, having been given a life expectancy of fifteen as a child. Her path, shaped by her lifelong battle with Common Variable Immunodeficiency, the rare disease she has faced since birth, brought her to Capitol Hill, where she advocates for healthcare access on behalf of those who cannot. Megan’s dedication to improving others' lives through biotechnology mirrors her own transformative experience with breakthroughs in biotechnology advancing treatments for her condition. Through her work in both biotech and advocacy, Megan continually inspires others with her resilience, commitment, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
