James Grenier has been a member of the Middlesex Community College faculty since 2006, teaching
Introduction to the Music Business, Introduction to Business, Principles of Management,
and Business Ethics. The Music Business course was developed and piloted at 51ÁÔÆæ that
first year, drawing on sixteen years of professional experience in radio broadcasting,
music direction, and production — including work at WBZ Boston.
Current work focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence and open educational resources into business and ethics curriculum, including the design of interactive simulations that place students in complex real-world decision-making scenarios.
Academic preparation includes an Associate in Fine and Performing Arts from Middlesex Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Music from UMass Boston, a Master of Education in Adult and Organizational Learning from Northeastern University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
