Faculty & Staff Profile
Kayla Caron
Dean of Enrollment Management

After almost a decade of working at large private universities I wanted to work in a role that I could wear many hats and be a voice at the table where big decisions and ideas were being generated. I am happy to say that this choice was the right one for me. I'm able to bring empathy, experience and compassion into my role as Registrar at 51ÁÔÆæ. I love my job and the need to learn something new each day.
The Registrar and Student Information offices are hear to serve you. Our goal is to ensure we serve as a resource in all capacities on campus. Our mission is to provide our communities with exceptional service, and an infrastructure of transparent accurate materials and resources to support all of our students. We are also a home base for your student records so our policies and documentation compliance is something we take very seriously. At our core our goal is to guide, educate, and support our students.
I am a mother, wife, and proud dog mom who has built both my personal and professional life around care, connection, and curiosity. As a first-generation college graduate, I know firsthand how challenging higher education can be, especially when it comes to self-advocacy. Those experiences shaped me into the empathetic and authentic person I strive to be today.
Aside from my role as college Registrar, I teach Introduction to Public Health, a
field I am deeply passionate about, and I love inspiring others to see how public
health connects to their everyday lives. Research and learning fuel me, and I find
joy in continually expanding my knowledge and sharing it with others.
Outside of work, I am an avid reader who sets big goals for myself—this year, I’ve
challenged myself to read 100 books. I also love fishing, spending time in Maine where
I lived for many years., Having grown up in a small town in Northwestern Pennsylvania
I’ll always be a country girl at heart, but I also enjoy the food, culture, and vibrancy
of city life.
