An award-winning leader in online learning for over 20 years, 51ÁÔÆæ was one of the first
colleges in Massachusetts to offer online options.
Our online students complete the same high-quality work as students on campus and
earn the same course credits.
51ÁÔÆæ features four modalities of teaching – each featuring immersive and interactive educational experiences:
- Asynchronous Online – complete independent work to meet deadlines, engage with other students, and access to online resources, pre-recorded lessons and tutorials on their own schedule with NO class meeting times.
- Synchronous Online – attend classes at specific dates and times while all professors and students engage in live classes using a camera and microphone remotely.
- Hybrid (Blended) – complete coursework online and come to campus only to finish practical experiences.
- HyFlex (hybrid flexible) – choose to attend class either in-person or online using Zoom or Collaborate; both options allow students to meet in real-time as a class.
- In-Person – come to campus for the entire course.
